05.07.2019 - 07.07.2019

05.07.2019 - 07.07.2019

Mountain bike festivals should be based around a number of activities. Number one being mountain biking, obviously - but as far as everything else goes, it's fair game. We've devised a pretty wide ranging number of activities to keep you entertained after the riding stops. Expect:

  • Live DJ's and bands

  • Fully licensed bar

  • A wide range of carefully selected, street food vendors

  • Pumptrack Challenge

  • Coaching sessions

  • Guided Rides

  • Dig Day with Soil Searching and the TVTA

  • SRAM Workshop Masterclasses

That's right, the campsite opens the day before the festival officially begins. Rock up on the Thursday, get settled in, go for a ride. Uplifts won't open until the Friday, but Glentress is right at your doorstep and Innerleithen is a 20-minute pedal away.

Please note: the check-in/registration for the festival opens at 09:00 on Friday. Some facilities may not available until this time. Campsite closes at 18:00 on Sunday 7th July.

The SRAM SHUTTLE will be available all weekend, with the first uplift of the day starting at 09:00, and the last leaving at 15:00. For all the info on timings, pick up point and full terms & conditions of the SRAM SHUTTLE, please click here.

The majority of food and drink vendors will stay open until 22:00. Due to licensing laws, the bar will not serve alcoholic beverages until 12:00 (midday) and closes at 23:30. All vendors will accept card, but if you're more inclined to use cash, there are ATM's located in Peebles, which is just a 15-minute ride away.

If you are vegetarian, vegan or gluten intolerant, we've made sure there will be a range of delicious options available to you, so not to worry!

Test bikes/demo bikes will be available first-come, first-served from 09:00. Last test ride is 15:00, with a return time the latest of 16:30. Due to the turnaround time of the test bikes, each ride will last an hour. For this reason, test bikes are only permitted on the shuttle to Glentress, not to Innerleithen.

There are intermediate, advanced and eMTB rides that are approximately 3hrs. After the ride rack your bike and enjoy and ice cold complementary beer before you head over the Angi Tech Bar to claim your free helmet crash detector.

Be sure to get to register via the link below, places will fill up fast. You can also check at the info point for availability during the festival.

We've teamed up with a range of coaching schools to offer the ultimate coaching package for everyone attending. From absolute beginners to the racers among us, Swift Trails, Dirt School and KICC all have the experience to propel you to the next level.

If you want to book onto a Swift Trails or Dirt School coaching course, please click here. If you have a little nipper and want to enrol them onto the KICC kids coaching course, there's no need to sign up beforehand. Just put their name(s) down at registration!

Please note: 10% of all coaching course revenue goes directly to the Tweed Valley Trail Association (TVTA), who ensure all the trails in the area are kept in tip-top condition.

So, this is where it gets serious. Due to tree contamination and the spreading of diseases which could impact long-term tree health, the Forestry Commission has requested each and every bike gets washed after its time on the trails. Sounds like a big ask, but Muc-Off have stepped up to the plate.

Throughout the entire weekend, Muc-Off will be running their Muc-Off Bike Wash Station, ensuring your bike is clean and ready to shred the next day. Oh yeah, and it won't cost you a penny.

Please note: all bikes must be cleaned after your day of riding. It may sound silly, but it's for the greater good of the forests we all treasure riding in.

Damn straight. We know if anything happened to your bike whilst you were out partying, it  would ruin your weekend, so we've made an area to keep them overnight, and employed some of the biggest, meanest security guards we could find (seriously, they're absolutely massive) to make sure nothing happens to them.

Please note: this is first-come, first-served. There are terms & conditions to sign when you leave your bike in the secure bike parking, so please read them beforehand.

Strangely enough, we don't have any photos of people getting massages, so you'll just have to use your imagination. These aren't included in your ticket price, but if your legs are sore after a days riding and you want to shred just as hard the next day, we'd recommend getting one.

Please note: this is first-come, first-served. The sports massage area is serving from 12:00 - 18:00, so be sure to get in early!

Get yourself warmed up or refine your skills with full-access to the pumptrack throughout the day. Heck, get someone to hold your place in line for the uplift and have a spin, it's up to you.

After each day of riding has come to a close, we'll be hosting our pumptrack competition, fully-equipped with an MC to hype up the crowd and enough prizes to get you pushing your limits. Think you've got what it takes? Roll on up!

Please note: the pumptrack will be available to use throughout the day when KICC (kids coaching) isn't using it. Prizes are subject to change. There will be categories for each age group, alongside a kids race.

Soil Searching is a global initiative to shape the dirt we ride, and when Trail Days Mountain Bike Festival comes to town, so does a Dig Day! Donate a few hours, or even a day, we're grateful for any time you can give us to maintain and build on the trails around the area.

You'll be compensated for your time, with an exclusive Soil Searching t-shirt, water bottle, snacks and lunch will even be provided! Learn more about the Soil Searching Dig Day at Glentress by clicking here.

Please note: the Soil Searching Dig Day will be taking place on the Saturday, and is open to anyone. Bring your kids, bring your grandparents, we're just happy for the help you can offer!
